To the parents:
This series “Pinto y aprendo” (“Coloring and learning”) has been designed for the enjoyment of children.

•They will enjoy coloring. The graphics are simple and have been prepared taking into consideration the characteristics and abilities of children three to five years old. Children this age enjoy playing with toys and sharing activities with other children. The fact that they “color appropriately” (according to the expectation of the adults) is not important. What is most important is that the children enjoy the experience of using the colors.

•They will enjoy learning. Each image has a phrase or Bible verse which relates to the picture. When making the connection between the image and the words, the child will better understand the meaning of the biblical message. For this reason, we have used different versions of the Bible, always looking for the most appropriate one which will help the child better understand its meaning. The idea is for the adult to read the biblical material, explain it to the child by relating it to the picture, and help him memorize it. Certainly, the most important teaching of this book is the one found in the last page, where Jesus is introduced as the friend of the children. May God use this coloring page to help your children get to know the best friend of all.
